Would you accuse this woman of "denying her roots" or "trying to be someone else"?

A woman of Nordic descent, very pale skin, platinum blonde hair, and blue eyes. She tans often, dyes her hair jet black, and likes brown contacts. She likes her natural look, but likes to change it up. Would it be fair to accuse her of trying to "deny her roots"?

I don't think she is denying her roots. She is just trying to find new looks. That would be like saying that black women are denying their roots if they straighten their hair and dye it a different color and wears blue eye contacts.

No many people like changing themselves from time to time.
Reply:No. Maybe she thinks she looks better with her new makeover.
Reply:No. It is fashionable now days to just change your looks because we can. It has nothing to do with denying who we are or where we come from, its just a fashion statement.

It would only be if she acted different because of the color changes that one might assume she was trying to be someone different.
Reply:No that would not be fair. There are thousands of women who tan and change the color of their hair.
Reply:No, it just sounds like she's trying out a different look.
Reply:Maybe she just want to look different every once in a while............it's not about denying anything. Anyway, we all have the right to declare ourselves to be from wherever we want, it's a personal choice!
Reply:She's changing her physical appearence, thats not 'denying your roots'. Denying your roots requires more than cosmetic changes, its refusing to admit where you are from and its heritage.
Reply:Not really, we all like to see what we all looked like before we became white yellow and red, because mankind was black in the beginning.
Reply:No alot of people like to change their style up. If she starts saying she's like Hispanic then you can accuse her of that.
