How can i get mascara to look ok with my blonde eyebrows?

i have blonde eyebrows and lashes %26amp; people sometimes tell me that it looks strange. (i also have orange-red hair, very blue eyes, and pale skin) i would really like to wear mascara, and other colors of eyeliner besides light brown, but it looks strange with my eyebrows! how can i fix this?

i've also considered dying my brows, but i heard that it can end up looking horrible? %26amp; i've tried a light brown eyebrow pencil and it looked so bad.

Try using light brown mascara or even blue, it will bring out the color of your eyes. As far as eyeliner goes, your eyes probably just don't look right with it on so go without or just put it on the tops of your lids.

Use the lightest shade of brown mascara you can find.
Reply:I think you should use a brown mascara, and no eyeliner
Reply:There are some great brow powders you can use. They are applied with a stiff, angled brush, and look much more natural than pencils in most cases. Choose a lighter shade, so it looks as natural as possible. Bare Minerals makes a great brow powder, and the brush to go with it - check out www.sephora.com

You may also want to check out the make-up counter(s) at your local department store - if they carry the product, they will likely have someone available who can show you how to use it properly as well. Best of luck!

Hello, clone.Nice to meet you. :D

I have naturally blonde hair, but I dyed mine red.

Question:

How light are your eyebrows and eyelashes? On a scale from almost pure white (1) to the color of dirty blonde (10), what would you say?

First thing's first: Ever see those mascara conditioners? They're typically while that you put onto your eyelashes to make them thicker and fuller. Start by applying a little of that.

Face it, you CAN'T get too creative. You have to stay with the natural look - that's just how your complexion and mine work.

After putting a little of that mascara conditioner on, your eyelashes should be a little more noticable and thicker. Go to the store and look for a golden brown or red-brown mascara. (Yes, they do make red-brown.) Anything besides black. Apply it to your upper eyelashes and (if possible) your lower lashes.

As for your eyebrows, whoever make the eyebrow pencil needs to be shot. No, seriously. Shot.

Get one of those thin make up brushes that are a centimeter or less wide (bristle wise.) Put the brush into a foundation that is just a *tad* darker than your complexion and tap the excess foundation off. Apply it very lightly to your eyebrows. They'll darken.

I suggest bare essentials make up. Love it to death.

Dying eyebrows;

The reason people say it comes out horrible is because most people can't do it that well. They end up dying the hairs, as well as their SKIN the same color.

If you really want to try it out, get a temporary hair dye to practice with and get a thin brush (like the one mentioned above.)

Only put a tiny, and do you understand me when I say TINY amount of color onto the brush. Try dabbing the brush in and then sliding it across a piece of paper to rub the dye into the brush and get the excess off. Very carefully, apply it to your eyebrows. Do not let the brush touch your skin. It sounds hard, but it's possible.

Leave on for *five* minutes and wash off.
Reply:Well, use emerald mascara for everyday because it looks really sexy with red hair. Use dark brown for special occasions.
Reply:Think of it on the bright side, if your hair was blonde, there was no way you could use mascara to look natural :)

There are specially made cosmetics for redheads, and also some regular brands have this "coppery" toned mascaras...you can always try them, and with a copper-toned eyeliner, they look amazing on redheads :)

You can always try shading your eyebrows with a coppery eyeshadow too, just remember to keep it VERY light so it doesn't overpower your face.

You should stick to eye makeup that complements the colour of your hair to look natural, not your eyes. So, don't even think about black or brown eye makeup sweetie :)

Hope I helped, good luck making up :)
Reply:I have blonde lashes and brows too. I've dyed both lashes and brows and it looked great. You have to find someone who really knows what they're doing.

I don't like to pencil in my brows either because it never looks right. I found a mascara for eyebrows and it looks really nice.

Brown mascara is what you need as black is too drastic.... clear would be another option.

I have green eyes and like to use eyeliner in the violet family.

If your eyes are: Blue Try: Brown and rose. Warm shades contrast the coolness of blue eyes, making them stand out. Apply from lashlines to creases and top with black mascara.

Make-up Tips for the Pale Beauty

Having a fair complexion can be difficult to deal with. Pale/fair/porcelain skin doesn鈥檛 have the ability to use just any color or shade when it comes to makeup. But just because your skin is on the paler side doesn鈥檛 mean you have to settle for looking like a ghost. With smart makeup tips, there is a way to make your complexion work for you and allow you to shine with the best of them. Knowing what colors work for your face and how to apply them is the best way to bring out a pale complexion.

Don鈥檛 be afraid to use foundation. Visit a makeup counter and get different shades tested out on your skin so you get the perfect match. For a flawless finish, build up your foundation color in layers and blend with a brush. This will give you a softer and more natural look that will add some color to your face without it looking like a mask. Translucent colors with reddish undertones serve pale skin well.

To add more color you can use a bronzer or blush. If you feel you are too pale, try a cream blush in a pink shade - but not too pink. This will give you a naturally rosy glow. If you鈥檙e going to use bronzer, use a light touch by sweeping it across your forehead, cheeks and the bridge of your nose. Remember when using a bronzer, don鈥檛 choose a color that is too bronze or you鈥檒l end up looking unnaturally tanned compared to the rest of your body. Be wary of too much shine or glitter if you really want a natural look. Tinted moisturizers are an excellent option if you aren鈥檛 a fan of foundation.

Playing up your features using makeup can enhance your natural beauty and draw attention away from your pale skin. Mascara and lip color are two of the best ways to make your complexion work for you. Black mascara can tend to look too dramatic on fair skin so opt for brown mascara for a lighter touch. When it comes to eye shadow, choose shades that complement your eye color to better enhance this feature. Red lips tend to work really well for fair skinned gals but if that color is a little too much for you, then try a softer shade of red or pink with added gloss so your pout stands out. In this case, shimmer can be your friend. A striking eye color palette and shimmering lips against fair skin always makes for a stunning transformation that can be pulled off without much effort.

You never want to appear overdone when it comes to the makeup you use so play around with colors and shades and make your pale complexion work in harmony with your makeup, not against it.
Reply:What I've found that works best on eyebrows is using a powder filler one shade lighter than your color and applying it with a brush instead of using a brow pencil. The brush and powder make it easier to cover every hair and defines your brows in a more natural looking way. For eyebrows you can try using M.A.C. eyeshadow since they carry any color possible and purchase yourself a professional brush then add a clear mascara to set hairs on brows after filling them in. Whatever you do, don't dye your brows unless you want to look cheap and fake. For you lashes, (mascara), I love Bourjois Pump Up the Volume waterproof mascara in Brun Starlette 22, which is a chestnut and goes nicely with the hair color you described. It's not a dark brown but more of a copper penny brown, which shines beautifully against the sun. I hope you really love this one. It runs for $14 but ever if it would cost more, I would spend the $ for it. REALLY WORTH IT!!!

get well plants
