I have pale skin, the type that gets freckles in the summer, strawberr blond hair, and blue eyes. what is the best make up for my eyes, and please be specific, colors, tips to apply( i.e. inside or outside the lashline) and how much. I need HELP!

Okay, so here's how you do it.
Durring the day, you should try going for a lighter, natural look, believe it or not, guys usually find it UNATTRACTIVE to cake on make up. guys like to see a side of girls that are beautiful, and natural, so show off your beauty!
For your face make up--- if you have clear or near clear skin, dont wear any face make up!!!! if your that lucky, then appriciate your skin, however, if your like me, and 99% of the rest of the world, your skin is NOT perfect, so use a concealer, or liquid foundation on your really bad spots, then cover your WHOLE FACE in a light powder foundation! it makes your skin look flawless like those perfect girls your see in the magazines[im so jelous! haha]. besure to even cover your eyelids, and under your chin with the powder!
Blush/Bronzer-- Okay, so cheek bones are like the sexiest part of makeup! i personally love to use a bronzer as my blush. if you have a nice blush brush, please, USE IT! okay, so here is how you apply your blush, put a light layer on the plump apple of your cheeks[example: smile, and where ever your cheeks rise up, apply a small, LIGHT amount there] make circluar motions with your brush to blend a little. then, you want to accent your cheek bones, so run the brush along the indent of your cheek bones [example: make a kissy face, and follow the crease all the way to your hair line!!!!!!!!!]

For eyeshadows, i say accent your eye color! There are 3 different colors that you should be useing, and light beige, your eye color[example: green, brown, blue, grey] and a lighter version of that eye color [light green, light blu, etc.]
eyeshadows--- first, cover your entire eyelid with the light beige. Now, use your light eyecolor, to cover the lower 2/3rds of your eyelid. that means from where your the top of your nose ends, down. lastly, you take your dark eyecolor, and create a crease where your eyelid folds. [ex: squint your eyes to that they are neatly closed, put your eyeshadow brush on the outside corner of your eyelid, and follow the crease inwards, the color should fade as you get closer to the inside corner of your eyelid! be sure to blend if needed!
Eyeliner: apply only if needed. and make sure that the outside corners of your eyes always have more eyeliner that anywere else, smear the eyeshadow to create a smokey look, GUYS LOVE THAT!
Mascara: use as black as black gets, and apply as normal. dont allow clumps, they look shitty. hahha
lips--- if you can handle brown tinted lipstick, then go for it! but otherwise, a dull gloss of shimmer is elegant! dont use that slobbery looking ****. i used to when i was younger, and it looks stupid. you need to find a gloss that looks somewhat natural, if you can use your lips as a mirror, then you know that there is too much gloss to it!!
And there you go! you look like a freakin model! happy makeovers!

maybe a pretty light blue eyeliner on top of Ur lashes, with a light pretty white shimmer for eyeshadow, then right underneath ur eyebrows brush some white eyeshadow..

then get a darker (not really dark) green and blend from the end of your eyelid with the darker
basically you will have light green going to a darkker green across the eye

A woman of Nordic descent, very pale skin, platinum blonde hair, and blue eyes. She tans often, dyes her hair jet black, and likes brown contacts. She likes her natural look, but likes to change it up. Would it be fair to accuse her of trying to "deny her roots"?

I don't think she is denying her roots. She is just trying to find new looks. That would be like saying that black women are denying their roots if they straighten their hair and dye it a different color and wears blue eye contacts.

I have blue eyes that stand out quite a bit as they are a very bright colour, all i usually do is put mascara on to just make my eyes look a bit alive but i really want to experiment with some eye shadow - what would you say were the best colours for bright blue eyes and quite pale skin?

I also have blue eyes, and when I once wore a pale lilac eyeshadown, my friends all thought I had coloured contacts in!!
If lilacs and pinks are a little too girly or babyish, you could try using a brown or nude eyeshadow, then dabbing a little shimmery pink or lilac onto the inner corners of your eyes! If you use very light shades, this will also make your eyes look bigger!
If you want something smokier, a dark brown or grey eyeshadow would look great. Use a black pencil eyeliner and smudge it in - then take a little dark purple/plum eyeshadow and blend this around the outer corner of your top eyelashes (where your eyeliner is). This will be a subtle touch of colour, but will work well!

I would also try a department store such as macy's because they should have a good junior's department. Victoria's Secret also has a lot of great swim suits on their website (that's where I got mine)
As for colors for your skin color, I would stick to something vivid and bright or black. I would stay away from neutral tones such as cream because it will make you look washed out. I too am pale and I seem to have had a lot of luck wearing green, pink and purples.

dont ever wear black with pale skin. it makes u look whiteer than b4. i would say a green bathing suit would be cute, or whatever color that would match your eyes! heritage has really cute bathing suits. id hit them up and pac sun! pac sun has the cutest bathing suits ever!

Jcrew has some cute swim wear. They have a whole section of their website devoted to swim at www.jcrew.com. I would also try a department store such as macy's because they should have a good junior's department. Victoria's Secret also has a lot of great swim suits on their website (that's where I got mine)
As for colors for your skin color, I would stick to something vivid and bright or black. I would stay away from neutral tones such as cream because it will make you look washed out. I too am pale and I seem to have had a lot of luck wearing green, pink and purples.

Choice two- Associate with excellence. Find people like you and be cool in a nerd kind of way. Only use words over two syllables if you can. Other nerds will be impressed with your brain. Hang around museums and wine and cheese parties.

ok right now my hair is a light brown on top %26amp;black underneith.
under it is growing out some, over the summer i before i start 9th grade i want to dye my hair a dark dark brown %26amp; then on the top layer i want just the top layer basically covered w/ red and blonde streaks, i have pale skin %26amp; blue eyes. first would that go?
second would it be bad for my hair %26amp; will it always being darker under unless i dye my whole hair black?
i havent dyed my hair in about 2months almost three.
then it would be another almost 2 months before i dye it all over again, would it harm it?

I love messing with my hair and changing things up about every 3 to 4 months, so I think you should just try it. For the love of hair though please go to a professional. Aveda salons are wonderful and if your can't afford it then ask people around your area where to go in your budget. DO NOT GO TO A SUPERCUTS OR FANTASTIC SAMS KIND OF PLACE. Going from black to lighter colors takes a bit of skill. You run the risk of doing some severe damage and maybe hair loss if the stylist doesn't know what they are doing.
Hair color??
Never dye your hair black. Its nearly impossible to get that dark of a color out of your hair. I think that the style you propose would look very interesting. (In a good way!) But you first need to make sure you can handle the Blondie and red you want. If you have pink under tones in your skin, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to dye your hair in red tones. And shouldn't go any lighter in hair color, then what you color was when you were a child.
Reply:I think you should color your hair the lightest Golden Brown. Apply the hair color where it is darkest first,then apply on the rest of your hair. Deep condition at least once a week. Wait a week,then frost your hair %26amp; pull through a frosting cap. Remember it's important to deep condition your hair after coloring %26amp; bleaching your hair. Fair skin complexion should avoid dark hair color. It makes you look more pale.

For a colour which will stand out gofor a light - medium copper. It looks really nice in blonde hair. I've had them done and they look really nice. =]
Reply:Its not a great idea to go blonde in the summer, the sun does enough damage to your hair without the additional factor of bleach. With your medium blonde hair the low lights will add texture and depth to it and look a lot glossier.
So many girls go blonde, i think you should have the low lighs and show you can get away with it and dont have to be blonde to have fun!
Brunette is so much more classy, elegant and mature anyway!

Why did I hear a voice and see a glimpse of a phantom when I was ages 12- 16?
When we moved to a bran new house my parents still live in (im 21 now) I began to feel i was being watched and i'd turn my head quickly (this usualyl happened during the day wheni was alone) and i'd glance at a hall way or doorway and i'd see the glimpse of a figure, tall, in all black, pale skin, no eyes, empty sockets, and long black hair . but i'd only see (it) for a flash and it's dissaeppear. and sometimes alone i'd hear voices in my head (i'd been hearing them since i was little) and it didn't happen often , but they were echoes of a voice that sounded like mine, but deeper , and older and it would put me down sometimes and sometimes driveme to the point of madness that i coudnt' concentrate on anything else, but it has since stopped. last timei heard it i was 18
why don't i hear it anymore? why don't i see that figure anymore? it still frightens me to think of it and i still silenty scream in my mind to think ofit, but why?

I think sometimes we hear voices in our heads that out us down, we all have these voices but if it was the way you described maybe you should discuss with your doctor for help so you don't ever hear the again. I was watching Montell with Sylvia Brown and this lady was on she said she would always see a man with a cowboy hat come up sometimes he was like a shawdow and would whisper her name. Sylvia said he was her husband from a previous life letting her know he was with her. Something to consider.

Reply:That prolonged time had to be terrifying! I can't answer, but did want to tell you re the time I was drowning, being sucked under the front of a car in the KCMO Plaza flood--in '77, I think. I was holding onto the front bumper, had one foot braced against the front wheel, but the strong current was pulling me under. I was shipping water, my mind was very clear as to the situation and I had no emotions! I began to feel the MOST euphoric feeling I have ever felt--one of PERFECT LOVE!! Hard to explain it, but ALL thoughts of earthly concern were totally gone! That may be a part of drowning/suffocation and inadequate oxygen. THEN a VOICE spoke to me about 1' from the side of my face, "Don't do that to KAREN! Don't do that to KAREN!!" Instantly I remembered my DEAREST LITTLE DAUGHTER!! I started fighting and screaming for help!!! I did call to Jesus--as I'd been taught to do as a child! Finally, a man lifted up my head so that I could breathe, but had to wait until another man came to help pull me out from under the car! I have thought of that many times, and have come to believe that, as the physicists say, energy cannot be destroyed, it is changed in andother form--as water to ice, etc. I do believe there are different levels of life, so it seems reasonable that life energy still exists after the body has ceased. i have blonde eyebrows and lashes %26amp; people sometimes tell me that it looks strange. (i also have orange-red hair, very blue eyes, and pale skin) i would really like to wear mascara, and other colors of eyeliner besides light brown, but it looks strange with my eyebrows! how can i fix this?

First thing's first: Ever see those mascara conditioners? They're typically while that you put onto your eyelashes to make them thicker and fuller. Start by applying a little of that.
Face it, you CAN'T get too creative. You have to stay with the natural look - that's just how your complexion and mine work.
After putting a little of that mascara conditioner on, your eyelashes should be a little more noticable and thicker. Go to the store and look for a golden brown or red-brown mascara. (Yes, they do make red-brown.) Anything besides black. Apply it to your upper eyelashes and (if possible) your lower lashes.
As for your eyebrows, whoever make the eyebrow pencil needs to be shot. No, seriously. Shot.
Get one of those thin make up brushes that are a centimeter or less wide (bristle wise.) Put the brush into a foundation that is just a *tad* darker than your complexion and tap the excess foundation off. Apply it very lightly to your eyebrows. They'll darken.
I suggest bare essentials make up. Love it to death.
Dying eyebrows;
The reason people say it comes out horrible is because most people can't do it that well. They end up dying the hairs, as well as their SKIN the same color.
If you really want to try it out, get a temporary hair dye to practice with and get a thin brush (like the one mentioned above.)
Only put a tiny, and do you understand me when I say TINY amount of color onto the brush. Try dabbing the brush in and then sliding it across a piece of paper to rub the dye into the brush and get the excess off. Very carefully, apply it to your eyebrows. Do not let the brush touch your skin. It sounds hard, but it's possible.
Leave on for *five* minutes and wash off.

Well to be more elegant (just looks) straighten your hair after you grow it out.
To be more sexy..well just dress more tight and revealing but I don't suggest that because well you get the wrong attention.

Reply:first lose the tacky jewelry, sorry but i am very honest, then grow those bangs and your hair at least to your shoulders, maybe get a self tanner. once your hair gets longer you can give yourself some big sexy curls with a little hairspray. you could be really cute with a lil work :)

Reply:All those people saying to have your eyebrows waxed probably didn't look very closely at the pictures. If anything, you should grow them out a bit (the right one looks a little too thin in that first pic) and have them professionally shaped.
Other than that, I love your crazy big earrings and necklaces so don't lose those. You have an interesting look that I can only describe as almost-but-not-quite-boho-chic. It's pretty unique and you wear it well.
In addition to your eye color, I think you should keep your natural hair color as well. You're really very pretty and you already "rock the pale skin", so find a way to play that up. I'm also very pale, and I usually don't wear much makeup beyond a little foundation over any blemishes and undereye circles, eyebrow pencil, and some lipgloss for special occasions. If you want to wear more than that, I'd go with a light dusting of blush and some mascara to draw attention to your eyes.
Basically, I'd say you really don't need to change much of anything.

Reply:All those people saying to have your eyebrows waxed probably didn't look very closely at the pictures. If anything, you should grow them out a bit (the right one looks a little too thin in that first pic) and have them professionally shaped.
Other than that, I love your crazy big earrings and necklaces so don't lose those. You have an interesting look that I can only describe as almost-but-not-quite-boho-chic. It's pretty unique and you wear it well.
In addition to your eye color, I think you should keep your natural hair color as well. You're really very pretty and you already "rock the pale skin", so find a way to play that up. I'm also very pale, and I usually don't wear much makeup beyond a little foundation over any blemishes and undereye circles, eyebrow pencil, and some lipgloss for special occasions. If you want to wear more than that, I'd go with a light dusting of blush and some mascara to draw attention to your eyes.
Basically, I'd say you really don't need to change much of anything.

I got red pens, red crayons, red pencils, red oil pastels, red paint, red gel and red water colors with some pale or cream paper and maybe art. It really is a nice way to express and keep you busy. You also find that talent you have not seen before or hardly do. Like Van Gough, he had his blue periods, and red periods and all of them in between. So try trading your razor blade and/or scissors for some paintbrushes.

wear your regular black mascara then put a bit of blue mascara on your lashes too. that will make your blue eyes pop out. the blue mascara makes the whites of your eyes even more white looking. so that will definitely make your eyes pop. freckles are cute. EMBRACE THEM. dont cover them up.
another thing for eyes maybe you could try eyeliner if you like that sort of thing. thin lines on your top lid above your top lashes. that will also bring out your eyes.

Reply:As you are fair, during the day I would go for brown eyeliner and a few coats of brown/black mascara for a natural look and then a soft taupe or mushroom colour on the lids with a cream colour highlighter under the brow line.
Don't use green eyeshadow - it will clash with the blue of your eyes.
For evening, I would go for black liquid eyeliner and mascara with a charcoal grey shadow along the top and bottom lash lines, with it darker in the outer corners of your eyes. This will make them very striking. The smokey look looks great on big eyes.
Lips - stick to paler colours, darker shades will make them look thin. You need to find a natural lip liner pencil and outline your lips just along the outside of your natural lip line. Then fill with a natural pink/brown shade and finish off with some gloss. If you use a tiny dap of highlighter in the centre of the bottom lip and ablove the cupids bow, it will also make your lips appear fuller.
Don't try to cover your freckles up with loads of foundation as it will show and look tacky.

For a book, your first word needs to be a hook to get the reader to read the second word. Your first sentence needs to be a hook to get the reader to read the second. Your first paragraph needs to be a hook to get the reader to read the next, and so on.
The first 13 lines (or there about) are the most important lines in a manuscript (as, in a properly formatted manuscript, these will be the lines on the first page, which a publisher might only skim before discarding). These lines need to be the absolute best you can make them (thus, spelling and grammar).
I know of two tricks often used for the hook. One is to start IN the action (you have started before the action). I've even heard it said (exaggerated, really) that one should write a book then cut off the first chapter. The other trick is to start in a different POV or topic from the rest of the story in order to give critical information that will hook the reader (Rowling did this, Tolkien did this, Orson Scott Card, etc).
Also, use complete, complex sentences. If I may offer my own rewrite, turning your first seven sentences as a single one... "A mark, a scar, a memory, people call it many things but I prefer 'triumph;' a triumph over the pain that lurks in my veins, threatening me with goose bumps that creep up my leg when it is dark, when it gets closer." So off the top, I recommend you capitalize and punctuate to normal standards. If you skipped it because you're weak at that, you will never make it as a novelist. It's not all that hard to teach yourself.
Spelling matters. Submissions editors will discard a manuscript at the second or third misspelling. It shows a lack of professionalism, or laziness, when a writer doesn't spell-check.

Blonde can work on anyone, just go to a respectable hair stylist and about what shade would flatter you most. I've seen it look natural on so many skin types. If you can't visit a stylist, I gradually work in some highlights over about 3 months so it's not so sudden and harsh.

Beauty tips for the first day of school! Help!?
No matter what you do don't forget deoderant. I looked great for my first day and spent all this effort getting ready only to forget my deoderant. I was nervous and started perspiring only to start smelling halfway through the day. Not cool at all.

2. GET A NEW CUTE HAIRSTYLE. (highlights too!)
3. SHOP AT POPULAR PLACES...aeropostale, a%26amp;f, hollister, american eagle...
4. MAKEUP:
6th grade: start wearing lip gloss!
7th: mascara!, u may want to also curl ur lashes.
8th: eyeliners, shadows, concealers and pimple removers, lol
9th: by now u should have found styles that suit u...add in blush, too.
5. SHAVE OR WAX LEGS.
6. GET A CUTE PURSE.
7. TRY TO GET A CELL PHONE!!!!
Reply:Do something to make your eyes stand out like smoky colored eye shadows and black eyeliner. As for your outfit? Wearing mens clothing (with a touch of girly sheik) is in!

Reply:Lol I'm 5'6 with red hair and green eyes and pale skin and going into 7th grade! So I'm very "experienced" if you will. I think that any neutral colors such as peach, salmon pink, lavender ect... look really good on us redheaded, fare skinned people. Also don't go for any hot pinks, or any firetruck red clothing peices because they just look awfull! Another color I would avoid is dark blue too.

2.always get a hair cut like a week or two before school starts so i can grown in a bit, DO NOT GET IT THE DAY BEFORE SCHOOL done it wasnt preety
3. you should try Aussies spary on gloss for your hair it makes it really shinney
4. for makeup i would go in mabeyline if your on a budget but if not try channel it is really good. for the kinds of make up u should buy would be LIGHT coverup since u proboly have pale skin like me ,lite pink blush,green eye shadow to bring out ur eyes, maskerra,and a sheer pink lip look really good
5. i would get mabey like a spagetti sleave shirt from hollister ( green to bring out eyes and eyeshadow)
6. every girl needs a mini skirt for school so you could never go wrong with a jean mini skirt
7.for shoes i would wear flip flops because or tennie shoes because there comfortable and u will need comfortable shoes on the first day trust me i you think thoes a boring i would do flipfops with a heel

Almay makes eyeshadows and eyeliners specifically for different eye colors and the brown topaz liner they have is a bronzy brown and so pretty for blue eyes. I also like peachy colors because orange is the complimentary color to blue which makes the blue pop.

Reply:I have gray eyes, and they tend to look more blue the darker the color, with the exception of green, which they tend to reflect more often. If you want to bring out green, wear green, but if you want to bring out the blue, most all other colors do that.
Reply:Dark purple and black most defiantly. Darker colors just really help make those features pop. And you should try a medium dark shade of red on your lips but pink gloss would also go well.

With hair color, if the color of your clothes matches the color of your hair within 3 shades lighter or darker, I wouldn't buy it, because your hair could blend in.
However, with skin tones, you just have to try on all sorts of things to get things to compliment it. I don't think its that certain colors look bad with some skin tones (some do, some don't) but more of some colors look AMAZING with some skin tones. Just make sure to try on everything you buy, and you'll find out soon enough.
