What should I wear to a wedding reception?

I have red, curly hair, pale skin, and this reception starts in 4 hours. I don't wear pink because I'm a tomboy and i don't like heels. I live in Iowa, so its kinda cold-like 40 or 50 degrees outside.
What should I wear to a wedding reception?
ya my grandparents live in iowa and my cousins i went to a wedding in demoine and it was pretty cold i have blonde curly hair and i wore a lavender dress with heels um for you colors will clash with your skin and hair so personally no black or you'll look like halloween no pink 2 bright colors don't mix maybe try a nice light green color or light blu and that will work best for you or you can TRY a carmel or maybe white im not sure about white anyways

BEST OF LUCK WITH IT!!!!

Reply:wear a long skirt and some elegant boots. then a long sleeved shirt- under a white bluse. wear some pearls and cute make-up. just something comfortable and warm

Makeup (eye shadow) tips ?

I have pale skin and hazel eyes.

What would be a great combanation of eyeshadow to bring out the color of my eyes.
Makeup (eye shadow) tips ?
I have hazel eyes and I tend to use greens and browns to bring out the color. Blues and purples also work well for me. For some really nice color combinations try the Mary Kay Virtual Makeover http://www.marykay.com/daryn_anderson You select the model that best represents your hair and eye color and skin tone.

mascra

gee nvm

Reply:green @@ shimmery
Reply:I would try a light pink or purple and if that still dont look right to you do a light brown and a pale pink together looks great.
Reply:the first shade on the eyelid should be cream color then on the top part of the lid brown with black mascara
Reply:I use natural colors... for everyday..

for a more dramatic look like night time.. I use a color called onyx from Mary Kay.. the real key is to use a makeup brush for applying eyeshadow and blend.. well.
Reply:use brown color in your eyes and black eye liner...put a mascara!

the point is, always use dark color to reveal your eye color...add some natural right on your eye sheath (just a lil). use natural color also on your lip for lipstick...

Some Help With Make-up Please?

Im only 15 so i would like to look a little more natural. i dont mean for everyday wear, but like odd days and special occassions. I have long eyelashes already and quite large eyes.

Id like my eyes to look big, sparkly and bring out the colour (bluey with a hint of green sometimes, and a orange ring round my pupil) i have mousey brown long hair and pale skin.

Please help (suggest colours etc) Id like to wear makeup occassionally but not everyday
Some Help With Make-up Please?
Well you sound like you have beautiful eyes anyway, but play one thing up, if you wear a bit of mascara then don't put any lip gloss on, and the other way round! that way there is always something natural about your face, for your cheeks because you have porcelain skin try a really nice peaches and cream blush and put it on the cheek bone! but remember the most attractive thing about a young girl is a beautiful skin, and you only get that from good diet, washing with a mild soap and a nice moisturiser!
Some Help With Make-up Please?
I would go buy Loreal products they have allot of the shimmer eye shadows in brown, tan, and green Loreal also makes a mascara it is called telescope which is great I have really long lash's also and it works great.
Reply:OK so I am saying maybe a lightish magenta colored pink on the eye with very light eyeliner then maybe a light green for the top color eyeshadow and for lips I would do a pinkish light lipstick with clear shiny gloss!! Since you already have long eyelashes I wouldn't recommend mascara!!
Reply:a light green eyeshadow will really show off your eye colour, but if you pick a dark shade of green, it wont look right on your pale skin. if you want to make your eyes look larger, then use eyeliner, since you have long lashes already i wouldn't bother with mascara. if you do use green eyeshadow, make sure your lipgloss or lipstick is not a drastic colour, pick a colour that is close to your natural lip colour, or just use a clear coloured lipgloss.

use a pale pink colour for your cheeks.

hope this helps.
Reply:Well, since you have long eyelashes(sooo lucky) you can wear clear mascara, just to kind of groom your lashes,so they will look prettier, yet natural, or you can wear black mascara, but just the natural kind, don't buy those that give volume, or claim to curl your lashes, since your lashes are already long, too much mascara will make your eyes look heavy, and always buy waterproof mascara, they last longer and are much beter then the regular ones.

As far for your eyes, you can use pink, green, brown, black(don't put too much) eye shadow, try to buy those shimmer eye shadow(L'oreal, maybelline, Cover Girl), they bring out more the color of your eyes, and give a light sparkle to your eyes.

You could also use blush, since you very light, it will look nice on you, I would suggest light pink or peach, just don't go overboard, or you will look like a clown, if you don't know how to put blush on, ask one or your friends to teach you, or you can go to the mall, and in the makeup area, ask one of the ladies there to teach you, they will do it with no problem.

Always wear lip gloss, I think is much prettier than lip color, try using, clear, pink, dark pink( more going to the red) peach, brown, those color will look really nice on you, and it will also compliment your skin tone.
Reply:Hi, I just visited a site that had a link on it for new makeup. I was at http://www.wonderful.myarbonne.com and clicked on fyi.arbonne or something like that.
Reply:Hi, I would recommend Avons Make up in colour trend they have loads of colours for people your age and I think you will love the range. All the top colours for this season and cheap too. and last as long as the other leading brands of make up if you dont have an avon rep or your can order online try tescos Barbara Dailys MAKE-UP range the foundations are brilliant.

I wouldnt recommend using any other cheap brands like collections 2000 as after years of using these they arent any good at all. Try tescos Barbara Dailys MAKE-UP range, really good and easy to get to.
Reply:i get compliments on my eyelashes and all i use is a curler and i use light pink to compliment my bright green eyes and it still looks natural and for a little sparkle just add a little glitter to the eyelashes not the eyelids! You don't want to draw attention and you wouldn't get the natural look you want
Reply:buy foundation in your shade and put on a little brozer to add color. maybe some gold eyeshadow for your eyes.
Reply:if you have big eyes then smokey shades are the best with eye liner. i would say blue or green smokey eyeshadowstart from the bottom of your eyelid with a dark blue then work your way up with a light blue then put on some mascra maybe clear if you already have long eyelashes. and a medium tanned foundation from rimmel london they really good!

hope ive helped xxx
Reply:I have bluey-greyish sometimes greeny eyes and the same kind of hair. For a natural look brush some very pale powder under the eye for lift. Brown eye shadow really suits green eyes but don't go overboard or it'll look like your tired or ill! A little bit will bring out the green in your eyes. Otherwise use a eye shadow just a little bit brighter than your skin tone, I sometimes use a very vaguely orange one ( very vaguely orange...I can't describe it very well!) Less is more really and don't spend a fortune on make-up. Just buy a cheap pallet of eye shadows and powders- you can work wonders with it! You can use vaseline (only 99p) to make lips shiney without being too obvious and you can also use it on bare eyelids or over a little bit of eyeshadow- gorgeous! A good set of make-up brushes is a good investment. Have fun experimenting xx

Highlights Help PLZ!!!!!?

natural rust red hair, pale skin, greenish blue eyes, wavy, thick hair, bangs to my eyebrows, ovalish face (if that matters im not exactly a hair expert),what would be a good highlight color for me
Highlights Help PLZ!!!!!?
You could easily pull of some strawberry blonde highlights, unless your hair is a darker shade of red - even then stick to a similar colour just one or two shades lighter for a natural scattered look.

If you wanted something more edgey you could try getting a big chunk of really blonde hair or black perhaps...

But it sounds like you like it more natural - so stick to the first option.. It'll look great!

maybe light brown.

I have a swim cap fetish, do any of you also find swim caps erotic?

Yes, I admit it - I have a swim cap fetish and I am proud of it. I love swim caps on both men and women, and I enjoy pleasuring myself with the while both on and off my current partner. I love the tight caccooning and the gripping rubbery feel on both my head and my Willie. It is so unimaginably sexy when I view images of swimcaps. I also love how the swim cap pulls tightly on the subjects hair, progressively leading to thining and balding in these areas, especially if it deals with the woman's neck. I have always fantasized about clippering and shaving away all of the thin hairs that stick out of a long-haired woman's swim cap. I always think of swim caps and the erotic pulling effects they have on on the woman's head. I also have a fetish for shaving a woman's head prior to her swimming. I also prefer it when the girls are relatively pretty, but have small ugly imperfections like big nose and pale skin. Anyone else feel this way?

I want to do something crazy to my hair or my face; like a piercing or other such crazy thing -- but what?

I want to get something crazy done, but I don't know what! I was thinking about a Monroe piercing, but my sister pointed out that Amy Winehouse has one, so I quickly forgot that Idea.

I would like an interesting and unusual piercing, but I want something really cool -- and I don't know enough about piercings to think of something really cool (or maybe I'm just a moron, lol).

I DON'T want to be too mainstream, too Scene, too Emo, or have anything done that a celebrity has popularised (I don't mind doing something that a celebrity has done -- celebrities have done most things -- but I don't want to do something that a celebrity has MADE cool).

I'm not against dying my hair, as long as it's a colour that's obviously not my natural colour (like lilac or something, but not lilac).

If it's relevant, I'm a natural blonde with fairly pale skin and grey-green eyes.

Oh, and I'm too young for a tattoo (I'm 16), but I鈥檓 def getting one when I鈥檓 18.

Any advice is most welcome! Thanks!
I want to do something crazy to my hair or my face; like a piercing or other such crazy thing -- but what?
I would go for something unusual with the hair.I'm all for unusual colors, choppy layers and even strange shaved bits (all of which are part of my hairstyle). If you're not willing to touch up every few weeks and style it every morning, then do something new with your makeup.

There are lots of ways to do flashy makeup that is totally temporary and easily changeable. You don't even have to wait for your face to grow back (like hair) if you don't like it.

If you don't know much about piercing, now is NOT the time to be getting one. Do some research and learn all about the subject before you go get pierced. You can look around www.bmezine.com and see what the various piercing options are. If you fall in love with one, learn everything you can about it including, aftercare and jewlery wearing. Never get a piercing you don't know allllll about.

What eyeliner should i use?

i have beyond pale skin and blue eyes. but i hear people with blue eyes shouldnt use brown eyeliner. i like to have eyeliner on thats noticible in color- but i want it applied very thin. i want it to go great with my blue eyes. what kind should i use (as in pencil, wax, liquid, powder) and what color- i like really black and light brown. but wich is better? thanks
What eyeliner should i use?
Use pencil %26amp; the color blk...Some eyeliners are expensive but the more it costs, the more its noticable and cute
What eyeliner should i use?
uhm i think pencil eye liner

in black.. that's what i use

my skin isnt really pale

but i have blue eyes and it totally makes them POP
Reply:Go with green Luvs it
Reply:pencil and powder are my fav! i usually use black but i have used brown before too and it looks cute..i would say brown during the day and black at night. and it also depends on the color of eyeshadow you're wearing..if you're doing a smokey eye then use black..but if you're wearing light, pale colors then use light brown. and i suggest MAC and covergirl brand =)

i also have blue eyes and this makes them stand out.
Reply:I would use a charcoal gray liquid liner. I suggest Urban Decay...great brand. With liquid eyeliner you can make your line as thick or as thin as you want and it wears well. There are also less expensive brands. Almay and Wet %26amp; Wild carry liquid as well.
Reply:actually brown eyeliner really compliments blue eyes... if the liner looks too harsh try a brown powder just along the lash line
Reply:You can use any color. Pencil is easiest to smudge, liquid makes the best line but you have to be really steady and it is also the hardest to wash off. Just experiment and have fun with it.
Reply:who says people with blue eyes shouldnt use brown eyeliner? That's crazy. I think brown looks BEST on people w/ light eyes. Dark or light brown. I like using a cream sort of eyeliner (clinique, prescriptives, smashbox). Or a crayon type..it's not a pencil, but it's still in a tube form, it's just much softer than pencil. I like the softer kind because you can blend them. An eyeliner in a tube will make it easier to apply thin. If you want super thin, and you practice and get good at it, liquid works well for that. Use the very tip of the applicator. I think black looks better on people w/ brown eyes...or if you're going for a dramatic look, or night out on the town look. But everyday make up, i woudl go w/ a brown.
Reply:use pencil and there is this makeup that you can buy at Target or CVs or Walmart that is supposed to match with your eyes.
Reply:it really all depends.

brown will go good with your skin though probably.

i use prestige its a really good brand.

all you have to do is sharpen it.

and apply really reallly thin.

if you are using brown you can go a little bit thicker.

but then if you are using black try to stay on the thinner side.

=]
Reply:you should use a black pencil. the liquid leaks into your eyes. black is better to use because it looks really good in every type of eyes but mostly blue and hazel eyes.
Reply:u should use black! try covergirl and get a pencil eyeliner if u want u could get liquid eyelinner i think itz great cuz it makes a fine line!
Reply:You should use blue or purple. i have green eyes and i use random colors. i uslly pair black on top lid and green or blue on bottom.
Reply:yeah id deffinitly say black pencil.

since its black it will draw attention to

the blue eyes. which obvoiusly is always

good
Reply:Try using a charcol. Its a little lighter than black. Its a very nice look for people with pale skin. As for the type. Liquid is very tricky and easy to mess up so i would stay away from that. Pencils can be hard to use if they get dry, and can hurt your eye lid. What I use is like an eyeliner by mary kay. It is the color slate. It is lighter than black so it is nice. Its not a pencil but it is in the shape of a pencil for easy applying. Its a softer creamier, pencil style. It's really easy to put on and very easy to remove. Especially if you make a little mistake it'll come right off. I really like it. You should try it.

Make-up question: I have dark circles under my eyes. I tried using powder...?

but it makes my face look really dry. I have dry/pale skin. What would you recommend to use that looks really natural? Also I don't want to block pores/get pimples.
Make-up question: I have dark circles under my eyes. I tried using powder...?
Moisturize very well under your eyes and then apply some concealer under and in the corners of your eyes with a brush and blend it out so that it looks a bit more natural. Finish by patting some powder over the concealer just to set it. Practice a few times and you'll get the hang of it.
Make-up question: I have dark circles under my eyes. I tried using powder...?
USE HYLEXEN.... (LIKE THA BANNER ON YAHOO ANSWERS SAID)
Reply:to tell you the truth.....stick a spoon in the freezer over night...in the morning, press it under your eyes and it will take down the color. it helps with swelling too. try a concealer like sheer cover. its great. it works for me. order it online though.
Reply:put on makeup....duh
Reply:you should try using a powder foundation by MAC...check out their concealers too for circles.
Reply:you should use a cover up kind of liquid thing instead of powder it works well atleast 4 me
Reply:Nope, you're doing it wrong...

Try this.

Use liquid foundation first, which will even out the skin tone. Then lightly dust on some powdered foundation on top, to keep it shine-free.

If you're on a tighter budget, try Covergirl's CLEAN MAKEUP. Not the Dream Matte Mousse, the CLEAN MAKEUP. That's the name of it. It also has a liquid foundation, and then another pressed powder version. Use both of them, putting the powder on top of the liquid.

Small red ring on hand?

I noticed a small red ring with a bite in the center and pale skin in between on my hand about 2 hours ago but i can't figure out what it is...its not itchy but i feel nauseous and dizzy....it may be because i'm tired...but i'm not experiencing any of the normal symptoms of a toxic spider bite...so any ideas?

Ringworm? Get it checked out if it doesnt disappear in a day or so.

Make-up with a black and cream dress?

What sort of make-up should be worn with a plain black dress that has a cream silk belt/sash? The girl in question has pale skin with slightly rosy cheeks, medium brown hair, and hazel eyes. The occasion is a cocktail party amongst friends, the guests are all about sixteen/seventeen
Make-up with a black and cream dress?
--use a powder foundation or a cream to powder foundation that is one shade slightly darker that your skin probably ivory or the color shade above it. Make sure it will blend in with your neck!

--pink-tone blush, --violet or dark brown eyeliner,

-- white eye shadow up to brow line, light pink shade on lids and gray or brown shadow on corners and crease of the eyes. --- any lipstick other than a bright pink, red or orange tone would work. I would probably use a glossy pink or lavander/berry colored lipstick. Use powder with brush to go over face when the look is complete and use an eye shadow brush to go over the eye lids after applying the shades. This will make it blemd together.

Remember, you are wearing black and that lends to just about any color palet. So choose a look and go for it. If you would rather be more intense then you may want to choose a different color eyeshadow for the lids and a deeper lipstick like red. It is up to you. My initial suggestion is just what I would wear. I would recommend practicing with different applications before the big event to see what looks best on you. Plus you can get a free makeover at beauty stores to see what color tones enhance your skin and bring out your natural beauty. Have fun!! :)
Make-up with a black and cream dress?
a little blush, pink eyeshadow to bring out your eyes, and some light pink shimmery gloss, not to much though. you'll look great!!! a little bit of mascara won't hurt, you don't need to though.
Reply:lite make-up
Reply:I have green eyes and with a black dress I love the pink eyeshadow but I would add a hint of green or purple/violet on the corners using the half moon method. Closing your eye and touching the middle of where your eye socket is I would start there with the green or purple and bring in down to my lashes in a C or %26lt; shape. Then blend well so it doesn't show any lines. Just a little to bring out the color of your eyes and then light color lip gloss and definitely a little mascara especially if you have long eyelashes.
Reply:make up should complement the person wearing it and not the outfit
Reply:wear frosted red lipstick and pearl eyeshadow. not too much of either or you'll look goth. use a black eyeliner( again, not much) and your normal brush and your set!
Reply:Lavender eyeshadow will make your eyes stand out more. Also, I like wearing a very dark brown eyeliner around my eyes with the outside corners pointy - I get lots of compliments. Curl your lashes and apply black mascara.

If you're wearing lipstick, don't make it stand out as much as your eyes. Wear a cute lip gloss or something - slightly red.

A little pink blush sounds like it'd be cute on you, too.

Perfect.

P.S. Make sure your hair doesn't cover your face, so everyone can see how beautiful you are.
Reply:I would go with something very soft and natural. And if the guests are 16 and 17, it is not a cocktail party
Reply:Neutrels with a brighter lipstick
Reply:I have a suggestion....ALMAY makes eyeshadow liner and mascara that coordinates with each specific eye color...now looking at the colors they choose mite look a little different but trust me i have green eyes and my sister has blue ... both of us have been complimented on our eyes quite a few times since wearing this...it's nice because the colors the choose enhance your eyes not your clothes so they seem to work with any colors we wear...and they are not very expensive and that's nice too...lol! Have fun!!
Reply:natural colors
Reply:Go for the Audrey Hepburn look. Beige eye shadow, arched brows, black eyeliner (top only) ending in an upward style, soft blush, red lips.
Reply:go for the 'natural' look. foundation and a little blush and lip gloss, even a lip gloss with a a tint in it. No lipstick jus gloss with a tint. for the eyes use little eye shadow and colours that accent ur colour
Reply:Brush iridescent cream all over the eyelid (highlighting the brow bone), then charcoal liner subtly at the corners, with a pearl/grey shadow brushed right above the lashes. Berry gloss with a deeper liner, and a coordinating blush just over the cheekbones to highlight your own rosy skin.

What makeup is good for me?

i have mousey brown hair , green eyes , pale skin
What makeup is good for me?
Well In my opinion you should take bronzer and swipe it over your face. Then you take a light pink blush and put it on the apples of your cheeks. Then take a very light skin tone color eyeshadow and swipe it over your eyes to make the beautiful color they are stand out (in a good way). Next you want to take some clear lip gloss or light pink and put it on your lips. You'll look gorgeous!
What makeup is good for me?
How old are you? If your young stick with mascara and sheer lip gloss.
Reply:16..don't need much...some medium to light powder...natural eyeshadows..like browns and corals. And some mascara and lip gloss.

green eyes should wear browns purple or plumy colured eyeshadow to bring out the green try mac eyeshadows there gorgeous like shale is a purply brown and a great colour for greens

gloss is a must try the loreal nudes that are out at the moment there lush or splash out on some mac lipgelee
Reply:If you want your green eyes to stand out wear shades of purple. I have green eyes as well and purple is a contrasting color so they really pop. Try almay's eye color specific line.

People have different types of piercing. You can check out www.bmezine.com for pictures of some. Ones that pop out to me that I don't see on many people's faces are vertical labret, inverse vertical labret, jestrum, bridge, and large gauge nostril.

Piercings don't make a person "Scene" or "Emo". The person themselves make themself like that. If you think certain piercings make a person a different label maybe you should rethink it..

You do know that will need parental consent for a piercing until your 18, right?

But fun hair colors would be purple, neon green (two colors I wish I would have dyed my hair, before I had to get to the real world and get a job) blue, pink, blood red....etc.

Any hairdressers on here need some info ?

Hi, Ive always coloured and highlighed my hair so many times over the years and now its all one colour brown. The thing is Ive read so many times that the colour can be stripped back to a more natural shade and then can be dyed. Im currently wanting to go back to my blonde highlights as I have very pale skin and being brown I look washed out. But it just wont take to bleach because of all the other colours Ive dyed it with, and even the hairdressers wont touch it, but none of the hairdressers have mentioned stripping out the colour and then starting from scratch. Does this have something to do with me bleaching and lightening it over the years and the colour not having anything to be stripped out to. As im a little confused as I have seen on the tv it being done loads of times. I can understand it can take a few goes at getting the colour back but if Im willing to pay how come they wont even suggest it.

Any infomation you can give me would be great.
Any hairdressers on here need some info ?
I bet your hair appears damaged from the color and they are afraid to chemically treat it any further until it grows out. I have seen this many times. No one wants to burn a customers hair and be held responsible.
Any hairdressers on here need some info ?
i'm a hairstylist.i read your problem, your hair is really dry.need treatment..if you still want do highlight and colour, the result will not maximum.for hair condition, your dry will be more damage..for the colour result, not maximum, will not shiny.so,i think you just pending your willing first which is colour your hair,do some treatment first.after healtier, you can do colour.
Reply:If your hair wont take the bleach.. it wont take being stripped. Bleach is the strongest procedure for stripping artificial color. You need to have some Deep conditioning treatments done to your hair to restore health and wait a bit for it to grow out. I wouldnt touch it. I'd just try to wait out until enough has grown out that you can cut all the colored length off. Sound like a bit of a wait, but it'll be worth it.

As for being willing to pay and stylist not suggesting the procedure... It's all about reputation and work. Just because you may have the money, wont make the job look better. Any good stylist knows when to say no. You have to remember, its not just your hair, if we do it, it's our "work" and it has our "name" on it. I'd rather help a client do what's best for thier hair, even if it means losing out on $$.

What nut do you look like?

i apparently look like a pistachio because i have dark features but greenish eyes.

People????

What do you think?

I am really lightskinned and multiracial. My mom is black and my dad is white.People always think I am a white boy even white people think I am white. When I tell people that I,m mixed with black nobody believes me.

I do have lots of white features like a long narrow nose, thin lips, very pale skin, mostly straight hair with wavy and some curly, hairy body and big ears.

Is there a way I can get people to stop thinking I am white?

THANKS!
People????
What's so bad about being white??
People????
Son it is not what people think of you...it is how you feel about yourself. You have two cultures that you are tied to and nothing will ever change that. Be proud of who you are inside / out.

In our society everyone is so darn self conscious about image and what others think. Stop it..Accept who you are..feel good about yourself and the world will be a better place. You do not need other people's approval to tell you whether you are white or black. If your parents love you and you are happy with your relatives then that is all that matters.

People would always talk nonsense and stereotype and label others....rise above that and be the bigger man.

God Bless.

Reply:you can't get people to stop thinking anything. you can learn to be happy in your own skin, whatever the colour. not wanting to be irritating here, but it really is true - it doesn't matter what anyone thinks of you but you. And anyway, if you are like most mixed race people I know you've probably got the best of both racial characteristics. don't worry, be happy!
Reply:you can always paint yourself black...or wear a cap that says you are a black....and whatever you do, never ever take off that cap...

or you can stick a plate on your forehead saying the same...

just get over it...its just a damn color!
Reply:Whether or not you are black or white really doesn't matter. What matters is that you are proud of your heritage and of yourself.
Reply:Don't act like a white person. Embrace both sides of your parents and you'll become a distinct person in which people may not say that you're black or white, but they'll definitely recognize you as authentic.
Reply:What's wrong with being white. Do you know how many multiracial people would love to be more white than black. At least you're not part of the group where you're too dark to be white and too light to be black. I'm multiracial and I think of myself as a white girl while many people think it's okay to label me as Hispanic (insert annoying and discriminating Mexican jokes). Hair issue... what should i do with it?

i have a roundish face... i currently have side bangs that are getting too long and they pass my lips when wet. I have brown, straight hair halfway down my back. i want to get my hair cut tomorrow and i want to know what i should do. i have fair, pale skin too. i might color it, im not sure. i don't want to kill my hair too too much. and i dont want to do anything thats so extreme since im only 13. i want to color it possibly i want to fix the side bangs and maybe keep it long. i dont want to cut it too short. i want to keep it cute and long.

I think it would look good if you got your hair with shorter layers but the same length..its kind of hard to explain the length would stay the same but you'd have layered angles into your face kind of... i have it and im 14 and i like it

hope that helps at all :/

maybe a little redish blond and shoulder length try to sprouse it up with cute hair bands and acessories
Reply:deffinately cut the bangs shorter.
Reply:the new paris hilton hair cute is very cute maybe something like that but do it so it is longer than hers so you can keep some length and have more options. it would be cute if you dyed it an auburn color. Like a reddish brown. Try getting it done somewhere oppose to doing it yourself. Since your only 13 im not sure how your parents feel but they would probably be more comfortable with a professional doing it .

What eye makeup is best to bring out my gray eyes?

I have grey eyes. Sometimes I want to bring them out, and I know wearing gray or white or black helps clothing wise (they reflect green if I wear green, blue if I wear blue, you get the idea, but they are actually gray). So what makeup would help bring out the gray? I'm makeup challenged. I have red hair and pale skin if that helps.
What eye makeup is best to bring out my gray eyes?
Gold is suitable for every eye colour, plus it looks good!
What eye makeup is best to bring out my gray eyes?
Try blue. Blue and gray complement each other.
Reply:I think silver would actually be a pretty good choice. It would compliment the gray without overpowering it. Also, it wouldn't reflect and make your eyes appear a different color because silver is essentially a gray.
Reply:Try black eyliner with mascara. That will really bring out the colour in ur eyes. With the eyeshadows, use any colour as long as ur matching it with the colour of clothing that ur wearing.

Why is it that while everyone around me is going out with someone, I'm stuck with no one liking me?

This may sound like a shallow question, which I'm sure it is. But I'm a teenage girl, I'm allowed to lack depth sometimes right? It's like a rite of passage.

Everyone else seems to have guys panting after them. But why don't boys like me?

I think I'm pretty, conceited as it sounds, and apparently so do others, because I get compliments from people all the time.

I have nice hair too, naturally wavy and always kept clean and usually down.

Blue eyes, pale skin, if a bit pinky when it's cold. I have glasses but I wear contacts almost 24/7.

I happen to think I have a really flattering style of clothing. Not too slutty but nice fitting enough to show off my curves, which are moderate I suppose.

I do extremely well in school with little effort and enjoy lots of afterschool activities.

My main faults are that I used to have acne that is mostly cleared up now and that I sometimes act a little mean to boys with an idiotic sense of humour.

Now, what is wrong with me?
Why is it that while everyone around me is going out with someone, I'm stuck with no one liking me?
Well, since most boys around your age tend to have an idiotic sense of humor, I suspect you don't leave many out, and that might be intimidating.

Also, my personal experience with acne was that my skin improved long before my confidence did.

Now let's start with one fact. Everyone else does NOT have guys panting after them. But it's true some nearly always do. Meanwhile, the numbers dictate that there are always a bunch of people going through "a dry spell" at any given time.

But perhaps you are offputting in some way. It's hard to get people to give you constructive criticism on this subject, often because, if they care enough about you in the first place they might be afraid they will make you feel worse. But it shouldn't really. Every one of us has problem areas, and life doesn't improve until we know what we can be working on.

The best suggestion I can give you is a double edged sword. You need to study people's responses to you, but you cannot be ruled by that.

It wasn't until I was in my 20's that I noticed/realized that people's compliments and complaints about me were really very consistant. My response to a criticism had always been "Yes, but...". Now, it is "yes". It has helped me not waste my time definding some things about myself not worth defending! lol

Hope that helps a bit?
Why is it that while everyone around me is going out with someone, I'm stuck with no one liking me?
dont be fake

worse thing u can do lol
Reply:You're not alone. I feel the same way too sometimes, but really, you need to concentrate on your life, not everybody elses. That sounds a bit cruel, but you shouldn't concentrate on your faults. Don't you want a boyfriend that will like you for who YOU are? Guys don't concentrate on love relationships as much as girls do, and usually think you're good friends when girls are fawning over them, maybe you need to give your beau a hint? I really hope I helped, this is a tough topic for everyone. But geez, there's nothing wrong with you at all.
Reply:thats the reason why your conceited no man likes conceited woman unless he knows how to handle or deal with them
Reply:lol, sorry, but my bet would be that boys just don't like your personality if you look alright and nobody wants to date you.
Reply:You very well may be intimidating to boys. Based on your description of yourself, you sound like an attractive and intelligent girl. Of cours, we think those are the qualities that boys should be interested in... but some boys aren't secure enough in their own appearance, or intelligence, to pursue such a girl.

Those men, they're not even worth wasting your time on.

Your young, and I know you've probably heard that already, but your dating pool is still immature. So I say, take initiative. Based on your description, you sound to be confident and happy with yourself, if you see a boy you're interested in... make a move.
Reply:I agree, don't be fake. But from the looks of it your just being honest. I bet there is someone who has romantic feelings for you. But you probalay just don't know them or dosen't see their feelings towards you.
Reply:Well, if you are still in high school, you are still quite young. And don't compare yourself with others who are dating. You are unique and different, a one of a kind, and probably wiser. Focus on your good points. If you have a busy schedule and are involved in after school activities, then it is just a matter of time b/f you get noticed. If not, so what. Sooner or later, you will be noticed. In the meantime, enjoy the good life. If you need to "ventilate" on Y/A, then feel free to do so. lol
Reply:well, it's got to be your attitude. Maybe you don't realize how you carry yourself. Sometimes the boys who act idiotic do it because they like you and it braces them in case they get rejected. Mean attitude could give them the flag that it's no-go. But it doesn't seem you'd want these boys anyways.

Try to study your friends a little and see how they act around men and try to emulate it a bit. With practice it'll become more easy. And also do you see any guys you like? Don't wait, approach and ask one out (or more) out...maybe they are a bit intimidated by you, especially because you seem to have beauty and a brain.
Reply:It sounds to me as if you might just be talking yourself out of getting to know new people. Could it be that you look for signals that people like you early on in any encounter and if you don't see any in the early stages then you give up? If you are telling yourself you are not liked and looking for evidence to prove that thought right, then you are probably giving up too quickly. Try overriding any such self-talk with the message that the people you are talking to don't know you, and that if they did they would probably accept and like you as those who know you better do. How you see others and how they see you, is rather like a loop, and if you could turn the current negative loop into a positive one then things will change. Try just looking in a mirror and start thinking about an encounter where you felt the person was rejecting you - take note of your facial expressions. Then do the same but this time imagine you are telling your mum something that amuses her - note the expression on your face. Your face is an important source of signals when you are interacting with someone. Getting a little tongue tied or stumbling over your words now and then is no big deal. My guess is that when this happens you have divided your attention between making conversation and self-monitoring, i.e. trying to look down on your encounter from the ceiling. It's a bit like watching yourself in the reflection of a shopwindow as you ride past it on your bike - before you know it you're swerving to avoid the car in front that has stopped. Try being as "present" as you can when talking to people and imagine that they are an old friend that has known you for years but you've met having lost touch and now you need to catch up - if you project acceptance in your manner, you are far more likely to find acceptance in others. Try the above as if you are doing social research and each encounter is an experiment to test out this theory.

Good luck

Men, is there anything unusual you're attracted to?

Such as red hair, pale skin, a little extra weight or maybe a really petite skinny woman, stuff like that? I think this should be interesting...
Men, is there anything unusual you're attracted to?
Pale skin, yes, very definitely. Paler the better. And glasses.

Yup, seriously. :) Red hair is a plus, but NOT blue eyes. Dark eyes are a plus and dark hair is a plus either that or red hair. Blonde only if it's thin and lacks body.

I'm a weirdo, eh? :) Just what I prefer....
Men, is there anything unusual you're attracted to?
Underage girls.
Reply:unusual?? hmmmm. I do like younger women, in their mid 20's. I find women my age (mid 40's) are too caught up in themselves and they have been burned so many times or they are jaded on men in general. Real bad attitudes and they all have lost their sense of fun and adventure, (or at the least the ones ive met so far). I love red hair, and i adore 34-38 sizes. I love a little extra weight, model types aren't all that beautiful.

Blue eyes and black hair? freaky or ok?

i have natural almost black hair, pale skin and blue eyes. Do you think i am a vampire? i tryed to dye my hair blonde once but its too hard on my hair, so i am stuck with it. I look quite like cristina ricci, should i embrace my look or wear a wig and get a fake tan(which doesnt quite look right on me). If i ever want to wear a black dress out i look like a goth. i dont like it.
Blue eyes and black hair? freaky or ok?

Reply:I bet you look like a total sexy babe. There are a lot of men out there who would die to date that combo, but I don't mean literally in the goth vampire sense. On a side note there's this Japanese pop star who I am in love with who totally rocks the whole vampire, black hair/blue eyes thing. Although I'm sure he's wearing contacts, it's not natural unlike you. See, there are people in Japan who are trying to look like you! It's so in right now.
Reply:Embrace your look, i dont think it is freaky at all. Try wearing something with the black dress so that you dont feel you look like a goth, this will break the black. Wear your hair up, dont wear it in your face. Dont wear dark eye make up. I am sure you look lovely.
Reply:I do not see anything wrong with that. I have dark brown hair (almost black and bright blue eyes. so if I thaught that it was freaky then I would be more of a freak.
Reply:Embrace your look - dress naturally (not goth) using colors to enhance your eye color. The dark hair and blue eyes is a stunning combination and draws many admiring looks along with compliments. Look at Elizabeth Taylor (dark hair, violet eyes) - timeless classic beauty. To wear black, accent with color to match your eyes and white gold/silver jewelry that sparkles like your eyes.
Reply:Maybe you should just get highlights done occasionally to break the 'monotony' of all that black hair. try and keep your make up young and fresh rather than go in for the kinda dark makeup so favoured by kids into that whole 'goth' look.

maybe try a bronzing makeup instead of going in for an out n out tan.

and hey just enjoy your look. lotsa people would love the whole 'mystery' associated with your look. use it as a strength.
Reply:It's actually quite common, particularly in Irish girls and not freaky at all. It gives you a high contrast level (that's the difference between your hair colour and your skin tone) which means make up wise you can get away with some quite strong statements (dark red lipstick etc). I used to be a beauty therapist so despite being a man I know what I'm talking about.

Stick with your look, it's striking, individual and I'm sure you're a beautiful person as well.

Take care, and don't be tempted to change things just because society says your look isn't right!

If you are really uncomfortable with feeling that you look like a Goth, then try and sit in the sun / wear a bit of bronzer just to get a bit of colour, nothing too drastic.

Embrace the fact that you are individual, and remember that there are lots of women who would love your colouring ;-)

My daughter never looks Goth and she wears black...alot. Goth is a state of mind......Why do people think blonde and blue-eyed blondes are superior in looks? Should I have???

I dyed my hair a blue-black colour the other day. sometimes i like it, sometimes not so much. I know I'll have to live with it until it grows out, as the dye is permanent, but I'm wondering whether or not it was a good idea. my hair is naturally a dark blonde/light brown sort of colour, and I have very pale skin and greeny grey eyes.
Should I have???
Yea I love blue black. I do it all the time. It sounds like a great combination with pale skin and green gray eyes.

I do find that blue black fades out very quick and that it just turns into normal black. If you get bored, add some random streaks in a contrasting colour. I usuially go with pink, but it matches my tattoos. You could do streaks of electric blue or a bright purple. That would look great!

Reply:sounds pretty, you can get your hair stripped but to not damage your hair you would probably have to go professional and it would be costly. i think unless you don't think it is attractive stick with it. it sounds nice with green/grey eyes and ivory skin. good luck with whatever you choose!
Reply:You really dont have to wait until it grows out, you will have to rdye a few times to the color you want and wait like a month between the dyes but if you hate it you have choices. I dont see why you shouldnt have done it unless it makes u look sick or u have a career that would make the style difficult. I figure, express yourself as long as you can, sounds like it would look pretty with your eyes.
Reply:Black hair and green eyes rock, i'd be into you.

The darker the better when it comes to hair, for me at least.
Reply:everyone has a bad hair day in their life all you have to do is pimp it up a little bit add a bit of glitter to it or some hair clips.i suggest u should use silver glitter perhaps you could even highlite the tips or put glitter on the tips!
Reply:Actually Dark hair looks great on people who have lighter eyes...just try different styles
Reply:Get it dyed back to your natural colour if you do not like it because when it grows out your hair might look kinda funny! I knew a girl with brown hair who dyed her hair jet black and when it grew out her hair looked grey compared to the jet black! But if you like it, (I cant see why not) it sounds like it would go nicely! Maybe you need someone to tell you its nice and boost your confidence with it...I do when I get new clothes sometimes and hair. Black hair compliments green eyes alot! Maybe its because that girl had brown eyes...i dont think it would look funny growing out on you though.
Reply:it sounds like the color might be a little harsh with your coloring, but if you like the color, then keep it. if you don't, you can go to the hair salon and get the dye stripped from your hair
Reply:If you dont like it you can lighten it. It will take work, but it can be done. Using somthing that will not damage it . I call a pro. When it starts to grow out you will have lighter roots, so you will have to continue to dye it back or live with the roots.
Reply:if you don't like it just use dandruff shampoo and it'll slowly strip the colour out.
Reply:Be cool Don't Worry
Reply:Probably works great if you're a Goth......maybe not so good if you're not.

You don't have to live with hair colour mistakes - go to your local (decent) salon - they can help whenever help is needed; they've seen it all before!!
Reply:probably not. I wouldn't have, that's for sure!
Reply:sounds nice miss murder..........
Reply:Im sure it must look real nice with your greenish grey eyes and skin. I think light eyed people look better with dark hair.

Why is it that u don't like it sometimes? People telling you it don't look good? Don't listen to them...like i said ... im sure it looks really nice. :)

**You don't have to be goth to dye your hair black**
Reply:what would look strange but kinda cool would be if you had silver streaks in your hair.

But if i was you i would leave it to grow out.

I once dyed my hair black and regreted it cause i have a pale face and it made me look strange. I like brown hair.

you could think about getting dark blue streaks in your hair but not just to streak a few strands of hair but to like streak a bunch of strands of hair, like thicker strands of hair and then dye them blue.
Reply:Cool! I wanted to do that but didn't have the guts. Bravo!

How much is lazer hair removal for legs?

I have very pale skin and dark hair, and only need my lower legs done. Any guess how many treatments it will take and what the total price will be?
How much is lazer hair removal for legs?
probably about six treatments because hair grows in cycles. depending on where you get it done, it will probably cost anywhere from $1500-$2000. i've never gotten it done on the legs but have done my arm pits about three times. usually after every treatment your hair doesn't grow for a couple months. so it's not such a bad thing if you can only afford it a few at first.
How much is lazer hair removal for legs?
depends where you go
Reply:umm...............dont do that it will just come back!! waste of money. just shave even if you are a boy.
Reply:well my sister wants it also and its around 200 dollars per session for each part of hair and its a lot of parts on the legs but thats only what i know it may be different for you
Reply:The cost will probably be between $1200 and $2000 for a package of treatmetns. Traditionally legs require a few more treatments because a smaller % of hair follicles are in the active stage at any given time. You can expect 6-8 treatmetns to get the job done.

What would look good on a slim but large frame?

Most modern fashion icons are not only slim but have small bone structures. I’m “big boned” with big feet, wide shoulders, wide pelvis and long arms, 5’5 135 lbs, size 7/8 (though most people think I’m thinner), supershort auburn hair, full bust, pale skin and hazel eyes. I’m slim and toned for my body but I often feel gangly in all these clothes designed for smaller women. I love the fashions of the 60s and 70s, the minidresses and big fur coats (think Edie Sedgwick), but I feel out of place in them even though I have slim legs
What would look good on a slim but large frame?
V-neck tops will break the visual line of the shoulders and make them look

narrower; also, scoop-necks have the same effect. By the same token,

avoid tops that emphasize the shoulder lines, like boat necks and halter

tops.

An unstructured jacket or cardigan will also suit you--and avoid very

fitted suitjackets, since they tend to make shoulders look broader. You

might try a double-breasted jacket, since that focuses attention on the

front and waist rather than the shoulder line. And, avoid jackets,

sweaters, etc., with any kind of detailing at the shoulders. Finally, be

careful with men's style shirts--with your strong shoulder line, they can

look more masculine than you might intend.

Look for bottoms that balance your shoulder line--fuller skirts,

wide-legged pants, etc., will help create a balanced line (and help your

waist look narrow).

wear clothes that match your eye colour!

it will make them stick out,

avoid dark colours such as black.. to make your skin not look to washed out
What would look good on a slim but large frame?
You would look good in anything!
Reply:accept yourself for who you are. who cares what others look like. you only feel like you do because you think about yourself like you do. if you hold your head high with a positive attitude you'll feel a lot better trust me.
Reply:Please don't wear fur. yeah, I said it!

I have no idea what would look good for you, but I know that if you are self confidant, you will look your best!
Reply:I too am "big boned" but I am also slim.

I normally just try to avoid anything with horizontal stripes becuz they make you look fatter,Vertical stripes make you look thinner :)

Why white people trying to ruled America?

I mean white people are trying to take over the world and stuff. Pretty soon they gonna take over other countries. I think white people are devils bc they took africans from there homeland then beat them up like they was not a human, make them as slaves. That was wrong. White people trying to say is this there country but sorry it's not. They trying to say they look better then blacks, asians, latina's and other hot ethnic race. I think people should not have white pale skin, They came from space.
Why white people trying to ruled America?
why are you so racist?
Why white people trying to ruled America?
You may not be a "racists", but you are ignorant of the complicity of the African people in the slave trade. Slavery existed in many cultures before the white Europeans made it an institution in North America in the late 1600s. Report It

Take off the racist glasses and look at the "real" world, and if it offends you so much, stand up and help those people who are being tortured and killed as you read this.

Question about race?

Are Italians, latin or white? Says, in Florence they are lighter than the ones from Sicilia. My friend is from Firenze and she's blond blue eyed with very pale skin, and she said she's latina? Her mother, though, when filling up official forms always use 'caucasian'. So, anyone can explain?
Question about race?
Italians are 'white'....it has nothing to do with skin color.

(my dad had black hair, blue eyes and dark skin...sicilian...

I have white skin, green eyes and drk hair....my sister, red hair, drk eyes and drk skin...my brother, drk skin, blonde hair and blues eyes.....) we all had the same parents...(my mother was Irish and American Indian, drk hair, white skin and drk eyes).

Latin people come from Latin countries...Italy is not Latin

they are italians defentley not white(italy)

Could i model?

im 5'11, 15 yrs old. My measurements are 33-26-34 and i am blonde, blue eyes, pale skin with a few freckles. I have had had scouts invite me to a casting call, but i was unsure whether it was a scam?? does it sound like I could model?
Could i model?
Your measurements aren't enough to know if you could be a model or not. You should post a pic
Could i model?
We need to see a pic of you
Reply:well i guess it all depends on what you want to model in? btw let me see pics of you :D
Reply:uhm I think it would be possible. and they may have been scams but since you didnt go who knows.

And you dont need to be tall to be a model.

put up some pictures. are you photogenic?
Reply:you never know untill you try and also put a picture up so we can see?
Reply:I guess if you really wanted to.

You will most likely be better off in the long run staying in school and going to college. My cousin did some modeling and it ended up costing the family a lot of money to keep her in it. Seeing as how it's so competitive, a lot of pressure and hard work, don't let that be your only goal. Keep it as an open possibility but think of all of the other great things you could do with your life. :)
Reply:Possibly, but if you post a picture... then we could see better.
Reply:Modeling is not just about looks. Too many people think just because you're pretty, you can be a model. It takes a lot more than that to become when. And the truth is, if a modeling agency does sign a contract with you off your looks, then you have to be reeaaalllyy pretty.
Reply:Of course you can!!!!!! you sound like someone whose probably quite good looking but looks don't really matter if your gonna be a model. All you need to know is how to pose for pictures and have a passion for it!!!!!
Reply:There is no harm in trying. If you think you have the "it",have a try.
Reply:yeah don't trust those modeling scouts how about you go to an agency yourself
Reply:yes !
Reply:YEAH FOR TALL GIRLS!

Im almost 15 (on nov 3) and I'm 5'7 3/4

I feel much better now. :)
Reply:Well, you're tall enough, which is one good point! But you could ask your best friend or at least an honest friend to compare you to a model in the magazine, and she might just be right! Like, are you skinny enough to be a catwalk model, pretty enough to be a jewellery model (earrings, necklace), have nice hair?

You can replicate the looks with other products and same colors, but those looks would look great;), try little bit of a peach/bronze on your cheeks, jaw line, and tremples to give your skin a sun kissed vibe;)
Reply:bronzer, foundation, purple eyeliner, bronze eyeshadow, brown-black mascara, peach-pink lipgloss. very cute.
Reply:some brown eyeliner, crisp brown eyshadow, and sheer pink lip gloss

What kind of makeup should i use? please tell me?

okay i have dark blond hair dirty blond light brown eyes, and sort of pale skin. i dont want to look bad with to much makeup. can someone please tel me f they know wht kin of makeup wud look good?
What kind of makeup should i use? please tell me?
cover up, red lipstick and a dab of mascara would look very pretty
What kind of makeup should i use? please tell me?
I would suggest going to a department store and asking a cosmetics rep what would work best for you. Perhaps a little power would enhance without making you look cheap!
Reply:Stay with neutral tones - browns, tans and toupe colors - Natural is always better! for your lips try a light shimmer with just a hint of color. dont use black mascara use a brown - it looks better with fair toned people.
Reply:im blonde, blue eyed, with light skin...i just stick to cover up, touch of bronzer, and mascara and lip gloss...stay neutral and earthy
Reply:you should put on chapstick then put on lip gloss over it and all you have 2 do next is put eyeliner and eyshadow and youll look fabulos.
Reply:Try a bit of lip gloss, some mascara, a little blush, and if you have some flaws then use a light toned concealer. Oh, for the lip gloss, try a dark pinkish would be good. A little eye shadow wouldn't harm but use a green or blue color would look good w/ your skin. I would suggest powder not the cream cuz creams make your face look unnatural and all soggy and heavy.
Reply:Hi, I actually read this really good article about it, you'll find more useful information there I'm sure:

http://www.carefair.com/Makeup/Makeup_fo...
Reply:i would say since you're in the "neutral" department in hair and eyes, you should use some color

maybe some black mascara on top

eye liner on bottom(black or a color)

and some metallic ( but not bright, like white or silver) on your lids

i would say some bright blush

but no lipstick, or just clear lipgloss, because you'll be accenting your eyes and cheekbones and oyu dont wanna overdo it
Reply:Use this easy and simple routine girl!

1. Wash face and use mostirezer. (Dove and Clean %26amp; Clear works best!)

2. Put on some black mascara on top lashes. (Covergirl or L'oreal is awsome.)

3. Put a little bit of gold eye cream on.

4. Apply pink flavored lip gloss OR

Fill in lips with a red or pink lip pencil, then dab a little bit of clear flavored lip gloss. (Cover girl, Claires, whatever.)

5. If desired, use a little bit of bronzer. (Bonnelbell is so good.)

I hope this helps!
Reply:yah. i have blonde hair and light brown eyes.

i use a little bit of masacra and lip gloss.

its noticeable but its not to much.

Should I dye my hair red?

I'm an asian with pale skin. I was going to dye it black but I changed my mind and I'm now thinking of red. My original hair color is dark brown. what do you think?
Should I dye my hair red?
You can dye your hair red, but it depends on how extreme you want to go. If you want the color to blend with your skin, you may want to go for a reddish brown.
Should I dye my hair red?
go 4 it
Reply:Go for it. You can always dye it back if you don't like it.
Reply:red hair compliments pale skin. i'm asian, fair %26amp; i've burgundy hair and it looks great. thumbs up! go for it!!
Reply:Read some useful hair colouring tips on this site to help you with it
Reply:Go for it...you only live once!!!!
Reply:Yes, you can dye it with red, that will suit you very well the only problem red does not stay long enough.
Reply:I think you should dye your hair whatever color you want to. But in my opinion a person with light pale skin should not dye their hair red. Maybe a color a little lighter. Like maybe light brown or blonde. Hope it helps. =)
Reply:Just make sure you dye the carpet to match.
Reply:All Asians Look good with red hair so i would go for it. Plus if you don't like it you can always die black, and i personally would go for it.
Reply:Go for it. I just dyed mine red too :-)
Reply:what do u think? If yes then try like a dirty blonde with straight hair
Reply:nah.... not purered.... shades of red will be nice...
Reply:Use one that looks the most natural. Garnier is suppose to be good.
Reply:ya for sure. i'm a redhead and i luv it and have lots of fun.

with your features it sounds like you should go with a darker red..a bright red would look a lil to "fake" on you. even a plum (red/purple) color looks hot on asians!! if your not totally sure on doing your whole head red, try with red streaks. and if you wanna have more fun do a plum with red streaks! happy coloring!!!

p.s. red has larger color molecules so it fades a lot faster than any other color so i suggest getting a shampoo and conditioner for red hair.(either one to keep your color or one with actual red pigment added into it)
Reply:this hair dresser says go for it...you were correct about not going black with your skin type...2 GOTHIC, but a deep redbrown would look awesome, but remember that any red color will fade faster than others..good luck
Reply:If its what you want you can always change it backk if you dont like it. ooh and for the record BRUNETES HAVE MORE FUN WOO
Reply:try light or dark auburn i've tryed product (color instinc) i've had lots of compliments w/ it.

not school: try smokey eyes (blacks, grays, browns) black eyeliner.
Makeup help??
How about some gold shades of eye shadow, brownish eyeliner and lightly tinted pink gloss?
Reply:mayB bluch, black/brown eyeliner and some brown eyeshadow.

The trick to makeup is to make it look like ur not wearing any.

How can i get away from wearing blue eyesahdow, mascara and eye liner?

it looks good, and i've awlays worn it and done well with the fellas, but i think its time for a change! black mascara makes my eyes look really small and horrible, and all other eyeshadows make me look ugly. i've got brown mid length layered hair, very pale skin, blue eyes, glasses - help!
How can i get away from wearing blue eyesahdow, mascara and eye liner?
Be careful with your colors, although you may think blue eye shadow will bring out the blue in your eyes, many shades of blue will actually have the opposite effect. Neutral eye shadows are the best and by neutral I mean soft colors found in skin, browns, vanillas, mauves, beiges or in the subtle undertones of the skin, golds, olives, pale purples, blues, and grays. Neutral eye shadows are easy to work with because they meld well with one another and naturally compliment your skin tone.

You can visit www.ivillage.com and use their makeover-o-matic program to upload a photo of yourself and try on different hairstyles, makeup looks, etc to see which one compliments you the most. Or try the website below. Good luck :-)
How can i get away from wearing blue eyesahdow, mascara and eye liner?
Try greys, more up to date than blue and less harsh than black or brown.
Reply:You need browns - dark browns and purples.........stay away from the blue - you need something to compliment your eyes - not go with them....
Reply:do not wear blue mascara that's trashy

try lilac
Reply:get a life
Reply:well my opinion is that no one needs to wear makeup......so yea.....just stop wearing makeup and let the guys see you for who you are
Reply:Go to MAC, Sephora, or Benefit. Tell them that you are looking for a new look and they will try out some different options. And the best part is that they do not charge for that. But it would be nice if you bought something.
Reply:just try brown or blick, or a combination of both, who cares what the 'fellas' think - they wouldn't give a toss anyway, just be happy
Reply:You should wear a really light pink eye shadow and if eye liner makes your eyes look really small then just chose a color that will make your eyes pop.
Reply:I went to the dollar store and bought cheap eyeshadow pallets to see what looks best on me before spending any more money on more expensive eye shadow. You can experiment without spending a lot of cash.

Dark brown or deep blue mascara might look good.
Reply:Here is my suggestions......

Pale Skin:

Porcelain skins are best complemented by soft, muted tones and pastels; choose a soft pink or beige blusher, nude or pink lip gloss and a couple of coats of brown mascara for a fresh, modern look. Alternatively, cherry red lipstick looks great teamed with pale skin and dark brown or black hair.

Blue Eyes:

Your best shades are vanilla, taupe, coffee and cocoa for daytime; for a stronger look opt for slate grey, charcoal, air force blue and lilac to heather to really accentuate the blue of your eyes. Choose a brown, grey or charcoal eye pencil to further enhance your eyes.
Reply:DONT WEAR THE MASCARA.i dont and since ur eyes r blue wear light pink or light light blue. maybe even some different light color but since u r very pale. (not sayn but u said u did) start to wear a light color blush if wanted. but.... its all u.

good luck and wear ur glasses so wat.
Reply:Green eyeliner a shimmering crystal color eyeshadow over whole eyelid then a pale green fromthe middle crease to the eyelashes and a smudge line of a little darker green at edge of eye lashes. You can go with lavender silver and purple also change it up just don't go to dark.
Reply:Trust me.blue DOESN'T look good. You are probably just used to it

Try some very lightlavenders/golds with some browns for contouring.

Use a brown eyelinger and brown mascara
Reply:Have you tried plum or purple in the eyeshadows? There's enough blue in the purple to make your eyes look really intense. You can wear a purple mascara and liner also, if you want to.

Seriously, tho, if it ain't broke, why fix it? Change your shade of blue, maybe, if you really feel the need to change something.
Reply:From a tactical perspective - Why change a winning formula?
Reply:take your clothes of that will distract people from your face.
Reply:Throw then out..then you wont have them to use.
Reply:I would go for brown eye liner %26amp; mascara with a grey, lilac or brown coloured eye shadow.
Reply:Try PALE bronze shades it worked for me.
Reply:DON'T WEAR THAT COLOUR OF EYE SHADOW USE BROWN AND FOR MASCARA DON'T WEAR ANY
Reply:TRY A LiGHT PURPLE EYESHADOW (MOONLiGHTiNG FROM CLiNiQUE) OR ViOLET OR PLUM COLOR. OR TRY A BLUE GREY SHADOW. (BLUE JOY FROM ESTEE LAUDER THiS CREME BLUE EYESHADOW HAS GREY iN iT%26amp;iTS VERY DOWN TO EARTH COLOR) WEAR BLACK BROWN OR DARK BROWN MASCARA AND LiNER. (MAC EYE KOHL iN TEDDY.)
Reply:to make your eye look bigger wear white eye liner, just on the bottom of your eye and wear skin tone colors or colors that make the color of your eye pop out.
Reply:The trick is to invest in just a few items of really good quality make-up - then it will look much more natural and flattering, and won't deteriorate and smudge as the night goes on.

For mascara, go for brown or brown-black. This will accentuate your eyes without looking cheap and heavy. Clinique Naturally Glossy mascara is totally fantastic. It costs about 拢10, but I've never known clumpy lashes and have used it for years. Clinique does some fab super-quality eye-shadows, too.

The best thing to do is go to a department store with a Clinique counter and get them to do a makeover on you. They will test out different colours and pick shades that flatter your skin-tone. Maybe greys and purples would look good on you. I have a lovely olive-green one too (sounds grim but looks really pretty). Use a soft colour for an eye-liner, not black, and don't join up the lines in the corner of your eye as that will make your eyes look smaller. Use a soft kohl pencil that you can smudge slightly to make it less harsh.

Seriously, take yourself down to Clinique and book in for a make-up session. Have fun!

(Do you think Clinique should pay me for this advert?!)
Reply:first try your hardest to get rid of glasses i feel your pain

second try to get different shades of blues. if your any thing like me (crazy and out there but not popular because i don't care what others think) then this will work out well.

third don't EVER wear all the same colors.

fourth i wear blue eyeshadow and blue green liquid eyeliner and black mascara i highly suggest because black eyeliner is way too much and it shrinks my eyes too used to wear all black with blue eyeshadow and never got comments and now that i wear 3 diff colors i get so many complements and my eyes are so much bigger

e-mail me w/ any Q's
Reply:Try buying an eyeshadow pallet in neutral, slightly shimmery brown tones. Cover girl makes a great one, it only about 5 dollars. Sweep the Darkest brown shade along your lash line almost the same way you would with a liner. Next, take the middle shade and sweep it form above the dark drown area up to the crease of your eyelid. You can blend some of this into your brow bone as well, and it will look great. The lightest shade is the highlighting shade, you don't need much of this, for night it's nice if you want a little shimmer above you eyelid to catch the light. These steps are simple, and quick. Something good for day or night, these neutral browns and taupe shades look great with blue eyes, i wear it often. As for mascara, try buying mascara in brown/black instead of just black. Remember to use an eyelash curler and use a eyelash brush to get rid of any clumps. I find that a mini brush mascara is great for a natural application that still lengthens the lashes. I think that if your eye did look small before, opening them up with the shadow(you can add a little black liner smudged along the lash line at night), and curling your lashes should make a huge difference.
Reply:The easiest way to get totally free of all that stuff is to seriously contemplate all the money you will save that you can then use for something new. - Chris.
Reply:Try a brown or brown-black mascara and line your top lid with a raisin colored eyeliner. Smooth on a fawn brown or topaz brown eyeshadow, and highlight the inner corners of your eyes with a white shadow. Lining underneath your eyes makes them appear smaller.
Reply:Try natural hues like browns and golds. They will compliment your eyes nicely and won't clash with your skin-tone or hair color.

When using mascara use brown or brown-black. Black is too intense with pale skin tones and blue eyes. Pastels are a good idea for your skin tone as well. LIght pinks and purples.
Reply:Just don't use it, if you want to enhance your eyes ask for contacts, and use Almay itensify for blue eyes, this should be better looking than you

but if you insist on blue eyeshadow, you should also buy some transulsent or white eyeshadow to mix and let it look a bit lighter and not too flashy
Reply:it depends really - i think you should find something that really suits your skintone %26amp; eyecolour - and then stick with that!!!i would recommend booking a free makeover, or consultation with a make- up brand!!why not try benefit???
