Which gradual tanning lotion?

Which brand of gradual tanning lotion available in the UK works best for very pale skin? Ive heard thats Dove Summer Glow and the Johnsons one are good.

If i used medium/dark, would i just go orange?

Can i use the same product on my face also, as i think the face ones are just a con for the companies to make more money.
Which gradual tanning lotion?
How about light brown shoe polish...much cheaper than all those fancy lotions and you can apply it with your existing shoe brushes
Which gradual tanning lotion?
i think the virgin vie spray on is very good, it adapts to your skin tone making it really natural
Reply:Well i use the johnsons one and it goes on ok,not sure what happens if you use the darker one though.

I bought the one for the face too as i used the body one at first thinking there wouldn`t be much difference but it left my face feeling really greasy and shiny but is fine on my body,so i`d defo recommend you buy them both.
Reply:Nuetrogena Micro Mist can spray, works really well without the offensive smell, and virtually no streaking and never turns orange. For your get Nuetrogenea for the face, its very gradual which is important.
Reply:My favorite self tanning products are made by CLINIQUE which are AWESOME for pale skin and do not turn you orange...

I tried the DOVE and on my milky white skin, it made me look like an orange barbie, lol.

One thing that I do like which is on the cheaper side is the many brands of shimmer lotion which have a slight bronzer in them but never make you orange or come off in patches. I think Nivia, Jergans and many more brands make this that are cheap, but it%26#039;s worth the 30 bucks (USD) to buy the CLINIQUE which is by far the BEST and you can use it on your face without the worry of a break-out!
Reply:try tan towels...they are mild and they dont streak
Reply:the johnsons overnight one is the best for a quick glow works overnight i was amazed at how quick you can top it up with the day one aswell but don%26#039;t use on your face as it will make it orange as my mother in law found i use oil of olay on my face 拢7 a go but great stuff and keeps you really mosturised as well
Reply:I would go for Lancolme Dry Spray Oil, this is really good, and you can build up on it however if you put on 1.5 hour then an hour before you go this gives an even colour. Johnson med/dark does eventually go dark especially at any dry areas (which you don%26#039;t you know have until they go dark!). If you go for any of thee build up ones get the lightest shade possible. Virgin Vie Shimmer Glo is also good but this is not a build up. Don%26#039;t use the same on your face as this far more sensitive, there are loads of good tinted moisturisers (SPF15), again I am a fan of Lancolme which gives an all day, non streaky lasting effect, Good Luck!
