What is wrong with? ANSWERS NEEDED!!! sickness?

OK, I have a friend who has been sick for the last few days, she even stayed out of work once on the first day! Her symptoms:


~ Constant runny nose (VERY watery. Just flows out like water!)


~ Wicked dry lips.


~ Pale skin


~ Sore throat


~ Ears keep popping


~ Someimes dizzy


~ Has sneeze attacks! (Sneezes 5-8 times in a row!)





She started out with a really bad case of the flu, then the flu went to a fever, then the fever to strep throat and cold. The symtoms about are about her right now.





Help, what is wrong with her? Does she have a %26#039;type%26#039; of sickness?





PLEASE DO NOT SAY TO GO TO THE DOCTOR. WE KNOW.





Asprin helps for a few hours with the weakness, but it keeps coming back. Help?





P.S. Has been going on like this for about a week.

It%26#039;s the flu, sounds like, sore muscles, head ache, watery eyes and sinus, cough, pressure on the sinuses cause pressure on the ears causing swelling and dizziness, which is common, fever is common with flu, fever is common with flu. Aspirin helps to relieve symptoms for a short time, but the virus can%26#039;t be made to disappear with medication, no shots will work either. It%26#039;s got to run its course and sometimes the flu can stick around for weeks. She needs rest, lots of water, broth, tea. Medicine won%26#039;t do anything but can help her sleep, like Nyquil, benedryl, but not both at once. She needs to rest so her body can fight off the infection. She%26#039;ll be okay and then she%26#039;ll be able to take care of you because you%26#039;re next. Wash your hands a lot and don%26#039;t touch your face when you are around her.

why ask for help if you don,t want it.either go to the doctor or er or die,you have a choice.what do you want to do with yourself by staying a week like this
Reply:She has the FLU and probably an infections as a result. People need to realize the Flu doesn%26#039;t go away in a couple of days. It can sometimes take up to 2 weeks
Reply:i%26#039;ve had the same thing over the week but i%26#039;m not as bad. i just been resting, drinking alot of fluids, and been talking cold pills and ibuprofen.
Reply:My brother had flu-like symptons, stuffy in the throat and nose, watery eyes etc, it turned out he had cardiomyopathy and needed a heart transplant, do yourself a favour and don%26#039;t play with your health!


The symptons might be minor or similar to other illnesses but you never know whats really happening.
