Reply:Since you have pale skin, a black dress could look over-whelming, depending on it%26#039;s style.
You should probably steer away from Dark-DARK dresses, like, a dark black one with dark red.
Try to find something either short-ish, kind of fun, and maybe a different color, like a nice green, or brown. (Depending on your eye color.)
If you want something more mid-length, then black would be ok, but only if it isn%26#039;t long. A dark blue would be nice too.
If you want a longer dress, blues would be best, but a light pink might look nice, (once again, depending on eye color.)
For unique-ness, look for dresses in not-so-common stores.
Patterns and little details can help add in something special and unique.
Reply:well pale skin an what else be more descriptive

Reply:For pale skin dark green, pink, blue or ivory always look good. Turquoise or navy blue look especially nice with pale complexions. Yellow is also a nice option. If you make the dress yourself [or have it made for you] you can be reasonably sure that no one else will have the exact same dress as you. Although when I was in eighth grade I made a dress out of blue checked gingham with red cherry appliques. The first day that I wore it to school a girl in seventh grade had the exact same dress made out of the exact same material on!!! It was quite a coincidence. Try overstock.com for some really discounted prom dresses. If you are just looking for ideas, try promgirl.net or prom-dresses.com. Two other good websites are rissyroos.com and tiza.com Good luck.
