Colored contacts?

i have dark hazel eyes (golden dark blonde hair %26amp; sort of pale skin), so dark that they look brown unless you look really really close to my face, then they look like vomit brown/green with a sort of red-blended circle around the pupils. i also have huge eyes so that%26#039;s the first thing people see. i want colored contacts and i am really set on it so dont tell me i shouldnt get them or its fake blah blah, i dont care, im getting them. now too the stuff i want to know..

i want either, sapphire blue, deep blue, jade green, or maybe something else, but i really want those b/c it would make my eyes pop! if you want to know what the colors look like go to the acuvue website.

would they change my eye color like the color it has on there?

what are the pro%26#039;s and con%26#039;s on colored contacts?

why or why not should i get them?

any other things you want to tell me will be fine.

thanks!
Colored contacts?
I have the sapphire blue contacts. and i really like them. I originally have dark green eyes and blonde hair, but the coloured contacts really cover my green eyes, plus i also have big eyes. So now when people look at me they are like WOW! is that your natural eye colour? It just basically really makes your eyes pop and it looks really cool. Plus, they dont bother the eyes and are just comfortable. They%26#039;re like your basic contact lens. Plus, you can totally ask your eye doctor for different shades that you can try on, if you order them on-line you can always send them back for a different colour.

P.S. Mine dont look fake unless you look EXTREMELY close you can see the little pixels.
Colored contacts?
No, they don%26#039;t change color like they do on the website. They blend in with you real eye color, so It looks like you have blue or whatever color you want eyes. But it looks fake.
Reply:Colored contacts are difinitely cool for wearing once in a while, but the downsides to them....

-It%26#039;s really hard to see through them

-Can damage your eyesight

- hurt sometimes

I%26#039;d reccomend tinted ones from a doctor, not the ones you buy at a normal drug store.
Reply:PRO%26#039;s: can%26#039;t think of any. oh, some people have to learn things the hard way.

CONS: they look fake (people can tell your wearing contacts right away so there%26#039;s no point), you can still see your natural eye color, time consuming, if they%26#039;re not the expensive kind they break REALLY easily, can give you an eye infection, i fell asleep with them on soo many times and that%26#039;s so bad for your eyes, when they pop off you can%26#039;t feel it at all and you%26#039;ll walk around with one colored contact on, it takes a while to get used to, if it%26#039;s your first time it%26#039;ll take you FOREVER to get them on the first time and you%26#039;ll be really frustrated, i HATED them. waste of money at least for me.
