Do you think this is a relaxed, fun and trendy hairstyle?

I am 11 and going into the 6th grade. I want a fun, relaxed and trendy hairstyle. I want it to look cool and be able to pull it back in a messy bun. I have pale skin and hair that goes down about 4 inches past my shoulders. I want the cut but I only want to cut off at the most 2 inches of my hair. I also want the color. Do you think its a good idea and I should do it. Do you have any other suggestions for me?

Reply:Its definitely fun and trendy, but not relaxed----it looks very high maintenance because of the multitude of highlights and sharp, angular layers. Both the layers and the highlights will need to be touched up frequently; the layers will need to be trimmed about every 4-6 weeks to keep them looking sharp, and the highlights will need to be touched up just as frequently to avoid too much regrowth, which can look tacky with heavy highlights.
