What are good eyeshadow colors to blend?

I would like to know different eyeshadow colors that are good to blend together. I know the basics as in using light brown and brown, purple with darker purple, etc. I would like different shades mixed together, but I haven%26#039;t really tried mixing completely diff colors together.

For example, I saw on %26quot;What Not to Wear%26quot;, the makeup artist mixed a light gold brown with a blueish color and it came out great on the person.

I have really pale skin, dark brown hair, and dark brown eyes. What colors would be recommended for mixing together? Thanks!

If you live near a mac store I would go in and ask them to help you choose some new colors. That way you can try it on before you buy.

I think starting from the top of the eye (under eyebrow) light colors (like pink, etc) then blending down towards darker colors (brown) are great ways to blend makeup - plus it highlights your eyebrow%26quot;s form too!
Reply:You need to go to www.marykay.com and find a local consultant. They will come to your home or have you come to them which ever works best for you. They let you sample everything before you buy it. You will get a complete facial and all kinds of make-up tips. It is an awesome company. You can also play around on your consultants web site and do virtual make-overs. My skin is in much better condition now that I use all Mary Kay products. Good Luck.
