Which colours were in fashion this summer (for a dress)?

My cousin is getting married in January and would like to get a dress tailored for me. Being in Peru, the wedding will be during summertime so I would like my dress to be a in a colour that was in fashion this summer except I%26#039;m not sure what those were so can anyone who loves fashion here please tell me? Thanks in advance. Btw I have dark brown hair, pale skin and hazel eyes and I%26#039;m looking for a colour that is fashionable but elegant if possible.
