New to Tanning?
Hi

The best and less orange look is to go to your local salon and have a chat with them, I would recommend having a tan done now to see it you like the colour maybe on just your legs incase you dont like it and then nearer the wedding have another one.

I prefer St Tropez but any good salon should be only too pleased to help you.

Sunbeds i have tried, apart from the negative remarks and possible danger I quite enjoyed it.

However, I now use %26quot;Dove%26quot; tanning cream, In a week you can certainly see the difference, NOT Orange and the skin feels much, much better too.

Good Luck, Don%26#039;t burn.
Reply:St Tropez 3 step system. No streaking %26amp; you dont have to harm your skin! I highly reccomend it!
Reply:I also prefer the tanning bads. We are going to the Dominican Republic in April, here is what I am going to do (I am also fair skinned like you).

I found that Hollywood Tans has the best price for unlimited month in their normal beds (19.99 in Atlanta). The first week I will go three days and 5 to 7 minutes a day, 2nd week I will ramp up to the three days @10 minutes each, 3rd week I will go 4 days for 10 and the final week I will ramp up to 4 days @15 minutes.

Good luck!
Reply:Don%26#039;t do it - stay pale and interesting!
Reply:I request going to a salon and start tanning. Start with tanning lotion that has a darkener in it but no tingle. I have pale pale skin also when you go they will start you off with maybe 8 or 10 minutes but they will slowly progress you to more time. It depends how often you go to know how fast you will get tan. I totally recommend it!
Reply:i have pale skin too and i use L%26#039;Oreal Sublime Bronze airbrush - effect. ive always had disasterous results wen it comes to self tanning but this is really good if you follow the instructions and jsut build up your tan. i wud advise to go to a salon though, but dont go to spray tan booths youll end up being orange! some salons do like a massage things where you have to leave it on then wash it off at home but it looks really nice. i wud do lots of test runs though and build up your tan rather than going for a darker colour just the once. hope you have fun
Reply:well done for not just jumping on the 1st sunbed you see,i think the other girls have nailed the answer just go a no1 spray so your not too dark and also make sure u use the lotion on your hands and feet properly before u get sprayed so you dont get it between your fingers an toes, have a great day at the wedding!
Reply:If you are just looking for a tan for the wedding, I would reccommend getting one of the Mystic Tans. They turn out well and won%26#039;t damage your skin. Plus, if you are fair skinned, you can pick a lighter tan so that it won%26#039;t be such a drastic change.
Reply:You say the wedding is this summer, so 3 weeks before the wedding try laying out. Pail skin make sure you use higher SPF. If you don%26#039;t see change that day than just go out another day. maybe then after a couple times you can change tan lotions. But that%26#039;s your call. Being so pale I won%26#039;t recommend going to a tan shop.
Reply:do not use self tanner!!! it will make you orange! go to a salon and get it done right... but go for a little at a time or you will burn... go like 5 min. your first time then 10 and so on... hope i helped! :)
Reply:Hiya, i%26#039;d recommend No7 Quick Dry Tinted Lotion (RRP 拢10.50)

This silky, moisturising lotion glides on easily to give an instant hint of colour and develops for a water-resistant, streak-free tan.

Good luck and I hope this helps!
Reply:hello karen.i am fair skined but i go on the sunbeds.i really enjoy going on and love having a nice tan.just dont go on to much and you will be fine.i bet you enjoy it !!!
Reply:i suggest you have a st.tropez spray tan. theyre great because they only get you as brown as you would go naturally. for a slightly darker shade have two coats of it.moisturise before hand and exfoliate it will help the tan stay longer. most last about a week. howeveer the first shower or bath will take the excess off so do that six to 8 hours lata, after you get home after having it done. they do them at various salons,we do at ours.
